It is indeed wonderful. Beyond wonderful.
What's wonderful is not what closed on this day, but what lasts afterward. Today, the Shades of War RPG is closed indefinitely. That, however, is not the focus. The focus is the people we've met, the friendships forged, throughout this RPG's long, wonderful run. I, personally, have come in contact with many new, interesting people, some of which I feel helped make me a better writer, a better person in general.
So, indeed, it is wonderful. We have no regrets.
Thank you for your support and creativity throughout this RPG's time.
The old site will remain open, so that people can still come and read what we created. The messageboard is now open to whomever wishes to post, and the mailing list will remain open as a forum for friends, sharing whatever you wish. If you want your storyline to continue independent of the RPG, by all means, continue. Where better to get honest criticism for your writing than among your friends.
